Compassionate Coaching for Parents

You ARE a good parent!

You want a happy family and resilient, empowered children. You know these years are so important, and you want to be the calm, confident leader of your crew.

But many parents today feel so overwhelmed.

You’re worried that your kids melt down. (Is it supposed to happen this frequently, this intensely?)

You melt down - or back down - too often.

You’re stuck in an inconsistent loop of time-outs, threats, consequences, and motivators.

You want more of a relationship with your kids than you had with your parents.

You want to teach boundaries gently, from your values.

You want more joy and balance in your family life.

The Truth Is: Good Parents Struggle. Often.

Parenting is an art. (A messy art!) It’s a science, too.

Thanks to recent discoveries about the developing brain, we now have better insight into strategies that foster self-regulation, connection, compassion, and resiliency. And a huge bonus of using these skills is that your brain will become less stressed over time as well! It may sound magical, but it isn’t - the only magic in the transformation comes from your love for your child- the rest is “just” science!

I can teach you about your child’s brain and help you see their behavior in a new light. Strategies that begin with connection and insight can help your family’s life move from chaos to calm (and help you embrace “the crazy” sometimes, too). I can teach you the basics of understanding the "why" behind your child's challenging behaviors, and provide you with simple ways to respond from a place of compassion and confidence.

It’s about building skills and the confidence that help you parent from your true self.

“Successful parenting” means you’re building a lasting and healthy relationship with your child.

Let’s begin together.
